VICTORIA FALLS WHITE WATER RAFTING

Low or High Water trips depart daily, depending on the time of year. Multi days are booked on request. The rapids on the Zambezi River are officially defined as “Grade 5” by the British Canoe Union (Grade 6 being commercially un-run-able). Guests should be reasonably fit for this activity, as there is a fairly steep walk into & out of the Batoka Gorge as well as the white water rafting activity itself. Road transfer rates to/from accommodation within Victoria Falls are included in the Activity rate and guests will be collected from their respective accommodation and taken to the briefing venue (the ‘Look-out’ or 310 gardens).

HIGHLIGHTS – The spectacular Batoka Gorge is the highway for our Multi Day Rafting trips. After the wildest one-day run in the world, our experienced guides continue on down the Zambezi River offering 2½ Day through to 5 Day journeys. All equipment is taken on the rafts and camp is set on remote sandy beaches only accessible by raft. The river varies from long peaceful stretches to renowned and wild Grade 5 rapids such as “Ghostrider”, “Chimamba” and “Moemba Falls”.

** PLEASE NOTE ** White Water Rafting on the Zambezi River is dependant on the river levels and as such the dates above are approximate based on our past years of operation. These dates may vary. The level is dependant on the amount of rainfall received and is clearly beyond our control. When the water reaches extremely high levels, rafting is halted until the level lowers.
